Day 1
Arrival in Antananarivo (Tana)

immerse yourself in the vibrant history of Antananarivo. Your knowledgeable guide will share captivating stories about the capital’s rich heritage while showcasing its stunning architecture

Day 2
Journey from Tana to Antsirabe
The authentic Southeast of Madagascar

After a delightful breakfast, we embark on a scenic journey along National Highway 7 towards Antsirabe. As we traverse this picturesque route, you’ll encounter charming villages and
breathtaking landscapes adorned with lush rice fields and traditional tombs that reflect the culture of the highlands.

Approximately 70 kilometers into our journey, we will stop in Ambatolampy, renowned as the “capital of the cooking pot.” Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a local factory and
witness the craftsmanship that goes into creating these iconic products.

Following a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we will continue our journey to Antsirabe, a vibrant industrial city known for its rich cultural tapestry. Discover the local industries,
including STAR, famous for its THB beer, TIKO, a beloved dairy brand associated with Madagascar’s former president, and COTONA, celebrated for its exquisite silk products. Antsirabe
is also recognized as the capital of the pousse-pousse, a traditional rickshaw that adds to the city’s unique charm.

As the day comes to a close, you will settle into your hotel, reflecting on the day’s experiences and the enchanting beauty of Madagascar that awaits you.

Day 3
Antsirabe – Ambositra – Fianarantsoa

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Antsirabe as you embark on a captivating
city tour via traditional rickshaw (pousse-pousse). Experience the artistry of local artisans as you visit workshops specializing in exquisite embroidery and intricate horn crafts.
For those with an eye for beauty, a visit to a semi-precious and precious stone shop offers a chance to discover Madagascar’s stunning natural treasures.

As we continue our journey to Ambositra, the heart of Madagascar’s woodcarving tradition, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city’s renowned handicraft scene. Wander through
workshops where skilled artisans create breathtaking wooden sculptures and souvenirs, perfect for capturing the essence of your travels.

After a leisurely lunch at your leisure, we will proceed to Fianarantsoa, the enchanting land of the Betsileo ethnic group. Here, you can take a gentle stroll through the historic old
city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the rich tapestry of Malagasy culture and history comes to life.

Day 4
Fianarantsoa to Manakara

Begin your day with an early breakfast, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey. At 6:30 AM, we gather at the FCE train station, ready to embark on a scenic adventure. The train
departs promptly at 7:00 AM, traversing approximately 163 kilometers of breathtaking railway. This unique train journey stops at 17 stations, each offering a glimpse into the stunning
landscapes of Madagascar. As we travel, you’ll be captivated by cascading waterfalls, lush humid forests, and winding rivers, all while experiencing the vibrant cultures of the Bestileo,
Tanala, and Antemoro ethnic groups. Along the way, local vendors will entice you with their delicious offerings, including crayfish, nem, sambos, and fresh fruits.

After a day filled with exploration and wonder, we will retire for the night at a comfortable hotel, where you can reflect on the day’s adventures

Day 5
Manakara
The southeast of Madagascar

After a delightful breakfast, prepare for an enchanting excursion on the Pangalane Channel, a remarkable waterway constructed by hand in 1910. This traditional pirogue journey will
take you through the heart of Madagascar’s natural beauty, connecting the coastal towns of Tamatave and Manakara. Our knowledgeable guide will introduce you to a local vanilla plantation
and a charming fishing village, offering insights into the region’s rich agricultural heritage. As we glide along the channel, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the sea, culminating
in a picnic lunch on the beach featuring delectable seafood.

In the afternoon, we will return to Manakara, where you can unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere. Spend the night at a cozy hotel, surrounded by the sounds of the ocean

Day 6
Manakara to Ranomafana

Following breakfast, we will depart Manakara and journey towards the renowned Ranomafana National Park. This extraordinary park is celebrated for its diverse wildlife, providing a sanctuary
for 13 species of lemurs, 7 species of carnivorans, and a variety of vibrant bird species. As you explore the park, you’ll be immersed in Madagascar’s unique ecosystem, witnessing the
beauty of nature in its purest form.

Day 7
Ranomafana to Antananarivo (Tana)

After a delightful breakfast, we will bid farewell to the enchanting rainforest of Ranomafana. Our journey continues along the scenic National Road No. 7, where you will have the opportunity
to soak in the breathtaking landscapes of Madagascar’s highlands once more. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at your convenience along the way, and we will arrive in Antananarivo in the afternoon.
You will spend the night in a comfortable hotel, allowing you to relax and recharge for the adventures ahead.

Day 8
Antananarivo – Departure

Following breakfast, embark on a captivating city tour of Madagascar’s vibrant capital, Antananarivo. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you will explore the historic Queen’s Palace,
perched majestically at the highest point of the city, offering panoramic views that are sure to leave you in awe. After a free lunch, immerse yourself in the local culture at the handicraft
market, where you can find unique souvenirs to cherish your memories of Madagascar. In the evening, we will provide a seamless transfer to the international airport for your flight
back home.
