Whale Watching

Embark on an unforgettable journey to witness the majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat. As these magnificent creatures are currently endangered, this is a rare opportunity to engage in meaningful research while experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Madagascar. Join us between June and September, when these gentle giants grace the waters surrounding Sainte Marie.

Day 1
Arrival in Antananarivo (Tana)

Upon your arrival at the international airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our knowledgeable guide. After assisting you with currency exchange, we will transfer you to your hotel,
where you can unwind and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2
Tana to Sainte Marie

After a delightful breakfast, you will board a flight to Nosy Boraha, known as Sainte Marie. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely lunch
and spend the afternoon at your leisure, soaking in the serene surroundings of this tropical paradise. Overnight in Sainte Marie.

Day 3
Whale Research Expedition

Following breakfast at your hotel, prepare for your first exhilarating boat trip with our dedicated research team. As part of this unique experience, you will play an essential role
in studying these magnificent whales by capturing stunning photographs and recording their enchanting songs beneath the waves. After a rewarding morning on the water, return to the
hotel for lunch. The afternoon is yours to explore or relax at your leisure. Overnight in Sainte Marie.

Day 4
Continued Exploration of Humpback Whales

After breakfast, embark on your second boat trip to observe humpback whales up close and collect valuable data alongside our research team. This immersive experience allows you to deepen
your understanding of these incredible creatures while contributing to their conservation. Return to the hotel for lunch, followed by an afternoon of leisure to reflect on your remarkable
encounters. Overnight in Sainte Marie.

Day 5
Sainte Marie to Antananarivo (Tana)
